Draft Email Response in Gerri
We've just launched new capability in Gerri for both redlined and clean agreement reviews that help users draft an email to their counterparty outlining confirmed issues and rejected redlines. Once a review has completed and a user has identified concerns with a contract, Gerri will draft an email with those concerns that can be copied and pasted directly into an email. Users can also ask Gerri (through a chat interface) to adjust the text to account for different tone, style or just to change the content. Gerri Counterproposal Support
We're excited to announce the ability to generate counterproposals for contract redlines in Gerri. When analyzing your customer's changes, Gerri can now automatically suggest and insert counterproposals directly into your processed document. Users also have the ability to suggest counterproposals and adjust suggestions from Gerri. This feature helps streamline negotiations by providing immediate alternative language suggestions. Flagging Issues in Gerri
We've enhanced our clean agreement reviews feature to now include flag violations that are automatically generated from your playbook rules. When reviewing agreements, users can now see potential issues flagged by the system and take direct action by either confirming the violation as a problem that needs attention or accepting it to move forward. This addition helps streamline the review process by surfacing potential concerns early and allowing teams to make informed decisions about how to handle each flagged item. Review Item Reassignment for Gerri
We've added the ability to reassign individual review items to other team members within Gerri. When reviewing redlined agreements, users can now reassign specific issues to the appropriate person on the team, or invite new team members directly through the reassignment modal. This feature streamlines collaboration during contract negotiations by ensuring the right expertise is applied to each redline. Self-Service Bulk PDF Export
We've added the ability for users to export a zip file containing all of their account's PDFs. The export respects your dashboard filters, so you can easily download only signed agreements, in-progress documents, CSAs, or any other filtered set of agreements. Simply select your desired filters and initiate the export - you'll receive a message confirmation and an email with a download link shortly after. For accounts with hundreds or thousands of agreements, processing may take a few minutes. This feature is available to admins on paid tiers. Read moreMarch 4, 2026

Notification Webhook Signatures
We've added cryptographic signing to all webhooks sent using our Notifications Webhook feature in Common Paper. Using a user-provided webhook secret, recipients can now verify that webhooks are authentically from Common Paper and that the contents haven't been tampered with. Gerri Support for Summarizing Agreements
We've added initial support for clean (non-redlined) agreements in Gerri. This new feature accepts both DOCX and PDF agreements and provides a set of summaries of key positions. Users can customize the topics and questions used for the summary to better provide the information most important to them. Additionally, users can chat with Gerri to answer any questions about the agreement. This new feature is perfect for quickly understanding the key terms and provisions in any agreement, whether it's a customer contract being reviewed or a template being considered. Approval Process for Gerri
We're excited to release a new approval process for Gerri reviews. These new features allow users to make decisions about each redline directly within the app, choosing to accept, reject, or leave for manual document manipulation and optionally include comments. Users can also override Gerri's initial evaluations. These decisions are then transferred directly to the Word document and then downloaded to reduce the time it takes to get from redline to finished agreement.
