Negotiation Hub Reports
We're proud to release into a beta this new feature that allows Common Paper users to analyze redlined versions of their agreements. The report compares the imported file against the original agreement and detects any changes to the Cover Page and Standard Terms and provides an AI generated summary of the impact of each change. Additionally, users can ask questions about each change and receive an AI generated response. Negotiation hub reports are automatically saved and accessible on each agreement's history page. Email Ingestion
We're excited to bring email ingestion support to the platform. Common Paper users can now forward (or cc) emails with DOCX and PDF attachments to the system in order to be processed as a signed agreement, collect signatures or stored as an in-progress file. Read moreJanuary 16, 2025
Expired Agreement Request Enhancement
We've released a minor change today that makes it easier to change or remove the expiration date from agreement requests that have expired. When these agreements are listed on the agreement list page, users can now click on 'Request Expired' to immediately access the agreement settings to change or remove the date. Common Paper Software License Agreement v1.0
We just released the Common Paper Software License Agreement, a standard contract designed for B2B software products that are locally deployed / bring your own cloud / on-prem. Like all of our standard agreements, this was created by a committee of >45 commercial attorneys and is available for free under a Creative Commons license. Single Signer Support
We're excited to announce support for having only a single signer when using our signing solution for uploaded documents. This new feature allows for either an internal or external signer for a document, and leverages all the existing signing features including automated reminders and expiration dates. This is a great option when a counterparty has supplied a pre-signed agreement and is asking for you to apply signatures, or in a situation where only your counterparty needs to sign. Duplicating Agreements

Non-US Governing Law Support
We've recently added the ability for users to be able to specify non-US countries and administrative regions for the Governing Law and Chosen Courts terms in most of our standard agreements. Personalized Email Summary Generation with AI
We're excited to release a new feature designed to help craft personalized messages to send along with Common Paper agreements. This new option automatically generates a summary of the agreement along with pointers on how to use Common Paper agreements. Pre-filling and Editing Recipient Information
We’ve added some new features that allow Common Paper users to pre-fill a recipient’s title and notification address information when initially sending an agreement. Slack Integration
We're very excited to announce an integration between Common Paper and Slack. Available to all users of Common Paper, this new integration will send agreement updates directly to a configured Slack channel. Users can specify which notifications they wish to receive, and in addition to any public channel, notifications can be sent to any private channel that the bot has been invited to. Voiding Agreements without Email Notification
We've released a small feature that allows Common Paper users to optionally notify their recipients when they void agreements. Previously, recipients were automatically notified.
