Slack Integration
We're very excited to announce an integration between Common Paper and Slack. Available to all users of Common Paper, this new integration will send agreement updates directly to a configured Slack channel. Users can specify which notifications they wish to receive, and in addition to any public channel, notifications can be sent to any private channel that the bot has been invited to. Voiding Agreements without Email Notification
We've released a small feature that allows Common Paper users to optionally notify their recipients when they void agreements. Previously, recipients were automatically notified. Usage based Items and Automated Billing
We're excited to launch support for usage based items in our Automated Billing feature for users using the Common Paper CSA! This new feature lets users specify metered billing items in their contracts, and have those automatically created as products in Stripe. Creating templates with old versions
By default, when we release new versions of our standard agreements any new templates created use them. In some cases, Common Paper users may wish to create new templates using previous versions, and we've added support within the app to handle these scenarios. Viewing/Restoring Archived Templates

Sender/Signer Reminders
We've expanded our email reminders to include sending reminders for agreements waiting for review or signature to Common Paper senders or signers. Previously, only recipients were prompted to take action on agreements, but now internal users will also receive email prompts to keep the signature process flowing. Improved Template Selection
We've released a new version of our template picker that makes it easier to find the agreement that best matches a use case. The updated feature offers a keyword search that includes related terms for each agreement as well as some pre-built categories. Billing Notification Email
We've added a small feature that allows Common Paper users to provide a billing notification email address to their automated billing configuration. This email address will get copied on any automated billing related email that is sent from Common Paper, and helps give insight to a finance or billing team into what's being sent to recipients to help collect payment. Automated Billing Info Reminders
For Common Paper users leveraging our automated billing feature, we've released billing reminder emails that prompt recipients to provide their billing contact information after they've signed their agreement. Letter of Intent
We've just released the Letter of Intent as a template available within Common Paper. If you have interested prospects but it will be a while before you can get a sales contract signed, a Letter of Intent can help bridge the gap and provide validation you can share with potential investors or other third parties. It’s non-binding, informal, and designed to make it easy for potential customers to say yes before committing to a sales contract or a design partnership. Transferring between Common Paper Organizations
On occasion, two members from the same organization sign up for their own Common Paper accounts, and then decide to consolidate to a single account. This new feature allows a user to invite another user that belongs to a different Common Paper organization. Automated Billing Statuses
Common Paper users leveraging our Automated Billing features (powered by Stripe) now have more insight into the status of the subscription creation and payment collection process. Billing statuses appear alongside the negotiation and signature statuses on the agreements list page, and new filters have been added to allow users to drill down to agreements in a specific billing state. To help our customers monitor the status of the Common Paper website, application and API, we've created a status page that is updated whenever there is downtime on any of our services.
