We’re honored to share that more than 10,000 companies have signed contracts on the Common Paper platform.
There are a lot of people to thank for this. First and foremost: The committee of attorneys who create our standard agreements, our amazing team that builds the platform, and our customers who trust us to help them build their businesses.
One other mind-blowing aspect is that most of the use of the standard agreements happens outside the platform. We don’t have visibility into exact numbers, but based on a large number of private conversations, we estimate that 5-10X as many companies use the standards outside the platform compared to within it.
That’s by design. One of our core values is to create more value than we capture, and making the standard agreements free and open source is a key part of that.
